Synopsis
What kind of life do instruments lead while they wait for their owners to play them again? A curious violin escapes her case and ventures out to the explore the world. She sees the sun, the clouds, the people around her. She feels the water, the air, and hears sounds she’s never heard before. And when she is lured by the heavenly smell of cupcakes, she bumps into someone familiar.
Production Details
Commissioned by moveable feast orchestra, an orchestral group of classical musicians whose mission is to integrate classical music with other types of media and introduce it to a younger generation audience, this film started from the concept of “the secret life of instruments”. Featuring music by Ludwig van Beethoven and Alberto Evaristo Ginastera, performed by moveable feast orchestra.
